How To: Wear On Your Wrists

Everyone loves dressing up their wrists with colorful beads and jewels...but how does one make sure they are dressing chic instead of over dressing? Well here are a few pictures to show some wonderful ideas. This season I am all about layering my wrists with multiple bracelets and a cute big watch. Simple color beaded bracelets with a gold or silver charm always looks Bohemian. For a more classy look...A silver watch, some bangles and a few nice rings will definitely do.

 My newest style:: lilac colored beaded bracelet with some gold bangles and a huge ring!! Purple is my favorite color and after seeing a picture below i fell in love!! Perfect inspirations include, Lauren Conrad, Nicole Richie, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. Be creative, and have fun layering up your wrists this season! And when your done.. make sure you keep the jewelry safe in an adorable jewelry box!

Hottest color trend right now? 

Well I'm seeing a lot of orange. Inspirations like Drew Barrymore, Ashley Olsen and Olivia Palermo have rocked this trend. Orange is the perfect color to grab ones attention, however, too much orange can make even the prettiest of people look like a traffic-cone. Four eyes has become the new two eyes...Yes this trend has been around for quite some time now, but I kept debating on whether or not to post about it...I gave in. Whats not to love about this latest accessory that has given such a simple outfit so much? These frames can be flirty, sophisticated, fun or just an amazing accessory! First Photo Shoot::

 

So.. I may not be the best photographer in the world.. especially when some of these pictures were taken with my blackberry, but nonetheless, I think some of these came out alright. What do you guys think? It was my first time shooting a model and it felt so awesome. The whole process of waiting for hair and makeup and the sun positioning was a drag but the outcome I must say was totally worth it!

New Twist On An Old Classic;;

Project DIY: A New Twist on Friendship Bracelets

 (idea sourced from Honestly WTF)

Materials:
Faux-leather cord
Colorful linen or cotton cords
1 strand of gems
Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1. Gather materials. Cut the cords to 12" long. Cut the strand of gems to 6".

Step 2. Fold the leather cord in half. Starting half an inch down the folded leather cords, wind one of the cotton strings around the cords creating a loop.

Step 3. Place the strand of gems on top of the two leather cords and wrap the cotton cord around the gems and leather cords tightly. Continue wrapping your cord all the way around.

Step 4. Repeat with your second cotton cord. Tie the loose ends together in a double knot and cut off the remaining string.
Tip: Start your second cord backwards for a crisscross pattern, or leave the second cord out for a simpler style of bracelet.
